Historic Districts Work Permits

Most of the houses in Capitol View Park are in the Capitol View Park Historic District. Please remember that if you plan to do any exterior work, such as adding a fence, building a deck, replacing windows, or removing a tree greater than 6 inches in diameter, you must receive an Historic Area work Permit before work may begin. This applies to all homes, not just historic homes. you can receive tax benefits for the work. Please visit the Montgomery County Historic Area Work Permits for complete details.
