Welcome to the Capitol View Park Citizens' Association (CVPCA)
The Capitol View Park (CVP) is situated between Kensington and Forest Glen. CVP contains about 350 homes. CVP is nestled between the B&O railroad tracks to the west and a stream to the east which forms our natural boundaries. CVP was the first historic district in Montgomery County and we have an extremely interesting history. Metropolitan Avenue turns into Capitol View Avenue a nd meanders south through the neighborhood until it meets Seminary Road. We welcome all residents to become members of the CVPCA
Capitol View Park supports an email list through Yahoo groups. This enables our community to keep each other quickly informed about neighborhood concerns, issues, updates, and referrals for service. We encourage all neighbors to join, so please send an email to Linda Winter or Nancye Bonomo. You will receive an invitation, and by accepting you will become a member of the Yahoo CVPCA group.
