Pursuant to the Constitution and By-Laws of the CVPCA, the board has appointed an Ad Hoc Nominating Committee to solicit individuals from the community to run for “any and all elected positions” on the CVPCA Board.
Esteemed community member Jean Claude Zenklusen is heading up the Nominating Committee. Interested community members should contact Jean Claude directly at firstname.lastname@example.org if interested in running for any of the elected positions on the board.

You are invited to participate in a community planting to celebrate Earth Day and the upcoming 125th Anniversary of Capitol View Park.
Capitol View Park is turning 125 years old in May of 2012.
The CVPCA Board is sponsoring a neighborhood planting of native species "Coreopsis Early Sunrise" on Earth Day -- Sunday, April 22nd. (Click link below to see a picture of the flower)
The Board has purchased 2 small plants for each home in the community. We hope you will plant them in a visible part of your yard.
The plants will be available for pick up on Sunday, April 22nd between 10AM and 2PM at the Lee Street Field**.
(**If you are not able to pick up your plants on April 22nd, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org and we will try to schedule a time to deliver the plants to you.)
This cheerful, yellow perennial will return year after year. Eventually, the neighborhood will have an identifiable yellow bloom between May and July.
Any leftover plants will be planted at the neighborhood entrances, bus stops and other open spaces throughout the neighborhood.
Thank you for your participation!!!
