THANKS to everyone who came out for the FIRST ANNUAL IVY-BULB DAY!

It was a very beautiful fall day, and so inspiring how so many neighbors came together to help beautify our neighborhood, and  protect our trees! Together we planted 250 daffodil bulbs, and pulled a huge amount of ivy off of the trees in the Stoneybook lot.  Thanks also to Bruce Cohen for bringing and helping spread a truckload of compost on all of the bulbs. Also, last but not least, thank you to my neighbor  Melissa Colbert who helped plan the event, and is planting  a lovely array of Daffodils, Jonquils and Grape Hyacinth at the neighborhood signs.

GAS LEAKS:

Some residents have noted with possible gas leaks in the neighborhood. Contact person for project to repair these is: Brendan Gamble, Sr. Manager, Construction, bgamble@washgas.com, 202-624-6439
