THANKS to everyone who came out for the FIRST ANNUAL IVY-BULB DAY!

It was a very beautiful fall day, and so inspiring how so many neighbors came together to help beautify our neighborhood, and  protect our trees! Together we planted 250 daffodil bulbs, and pulled a huge amount of ivy off of the trees in the Stoneybook lot.  Thanks also to Bruce Cohen for bringing and helping spread a truckload of compost on all of the bulbs. Also, last but not least, thank you to my neighbor  Melissa Colbert who helped plan the event, and is planting  a lovely array of Daffodils, Jonquils and Grape Hyacinth at the neighborhood signs.

Some residents have noted with possible gas leaks in the neighborhood. Contact person for project to repair these is: Brendan Gamble, Sr. Manager, Construction,, 202-624-6439
